CFK Africa has been working in Kibera, the largest informal settlement in Kenya and second-largest in Africa, since 2001.

Malnutrition treatment

Partnering with schools, community health volunteers, and early childhood development centers to identify and treat malnourished children under-5.

Safe spaces for girls

Areas where girls are physically, emotionally, and psychologically safe to connect, form strong sisterhoods, and access mentors and resources.

Scholarships & job training

Providing opportunities to students both in and out of the classroom through a mix of high school, college, and university scholarships as well as entrepreneurship and work readiness training.

Wash

Installing and repairing hand washing stations, monitoring water quality, offering soap making demonstrations, and leading community outreach to promote positive health behaviors.
