CFK Africa is youth-centered and community-aligned.
We envision a future where a generation of healthy, educated, and innovative youth in informal settlements become visionary leaders and change-makers, facilitated by digital connectivity.
With just $26, CFK Africa co-founder Tabitha Festo transformed her community. 24 years ago, she turned her dream of providing accessible healthcare into what CFK Africa is today, now serving over 200,000 people in slums annually. We celebrate Tabitha each year during Tabitha Week, because she believed that every mother deserves dignity, quality healthcare, and assurances of hope. This month, we honor her legacy by sending Community Health Promoters door-to-door across all 13 villages of Kibera, bringing maternal healthcare directly to moms who need it most.
