Donor-Advised Funds (DAFs) are investment accounts for the purpose of supporting charitable organizations. By recommending a grant from your DAF to CFK Africa, you can support our work with funds you already have set aside. Just let your DAF custodian know that you would like to recommend a grant to CFK Africa.
Rather than cash, some supporters choose to donate their appreciated stock directly to us, enabling donors to help us build healthy communities and develop youth leaders, at less of a cost to you. Donating stocks allows you to avoid capital gains tax and often take a charitable deduction for the full value of the asset.
CFK Africa processes stock gifts through the University of North Carolina. Your bank or broker may transfer stock to UNC’s brokerage account with the information below.
