Meet Khadija Muhammad, Gillings MPH student in Health Policy, and CFK Africa 2026 Peacock Fellow.
She takes us through a day in the field with the “Women at Work” program, which equips women not only with technical skills but also with the confidence, leadership abilities, and mentorship needed to pursue meaningful employment – especially in higher-paying, male-dominated fields. By working alongside local professionals and community members, she is learning how empowerment and economic opportunity can create lasting impacts for individuals and communities.
