AP News covered a bipartisan US Congressional delegation that visited CFK Africa’s Tabitha Medical Clinic in Kibera following the 2022 Kenya elections.
CFK Africa, an international nonprofit with offices in Kenya and the U.S., has begun distributing coronavirus vaccines through its Tabitha Medical Clinic in Kibera, one of Africa’s largest and most densely populated informal settlements, located outside of Nairobi, Kenya. The vaccine initiative is in partnership with the Ministry of Health.
The daughter of the late CFK co-founder Tabitha Festo, Joy Barnice Henry is committed to upholding Tabitha’s legacy and championing affordable healthcare through the same clinic her mother started in 2001.
CFK Africa is a registered NGO in Kenya and 501(c)(3) nonprofit in the U.S. that improves public health and economic prosperity in informal settlements through participatory research, primary health care, and education.
