CFK Africa recently received three awards for its work providing health care in Kibera.

“Kibera is just a small portion of what’s happening in the country,” said Okoro.

“To us, it’s about how we can protect, prevent, but, most importantly, share knowledge that we are learning from this health surveillance platform that we have,” he said.

In 2018, Rose Akoth discovered she had cervical cancer. She accessed treatment at CFK’s Tabitha Medical Clinic and now encourages other women to access screening.
