CFK Africa has brought more than 25 stakeholders together to kick off the global 16 Days of Activism campaign against GBV.

The youth-focused NGO says the situation poses a serious threat to the health, education, and future of young people in the community.

“We believe that an intergenerational dialogue is crucial to addressing the issues that come with SRGBV.”

CFK Africa has launched a new initiative to tackle sexual and gender-based violence in Mathare slum.

“All our officers are here to represent everyone at all times of the day and night. When you arrive at Mathare Police Station, you are safe.”

“The launch event affirmed several truths for me: that many are committed to ending GBV, that community ownership is key, and that extraordinary potential exists when people unite around a shared cause.”
