The appointment of Jeffrey Okoro as CFK Africa’s Executive Director was featured in an article on CEO transitions in The Chronicle of Philanthropy.
CFK Africa announced it has hired Jeffrey Oduro Okoro to be its fifth executive director since its founding in 2001.
Frankline Kaburia, a nutritionist from CFK Africa, explains that they are conducting screenings to identify malnourished children in the area.
“The social and economic consequences of inadequate water and sanitation services are generally devastating. Without these critical services, people fall ill, children miss out on learning, especially girls, and entire communities can be displaced by water scarcity,” said Eddah Ogogo, a primary healthcare coordinator at CFK Africa.
CFK Africa’s football exhibition at CreaKids Sports Centre in Gatwekera Village was featured in a sports digest feature on NTV Kenya.
CFK Africa together with other local organisations joined hands to conduct a massive clean up around Maranatha in Katwekera village. It was dubbed “vita vya takata.”
CFK Africa’s Interim Director of Strategic Initiatives, Jeffrey Okoro, spoke with VOA News about CFK Africa’s partnership with MIT to improve educational outcomes among students living in Kenya’s informal settlements.
